Measure the wall, then leave at least 8 to 10 inches of wall on each side of the fireplace. If a TV goes above, match the fireplace to the TV's width or go slightly wider. Roughly: the 36" suits a bedroom wall or a TV up to 43", the 50" suits a 50–55" TV and the 65" suits a 65–75" TV. Between two sizes? Go bigger. Buying too small is the most common regret.

The framing opening is about 36.2 × 18.5 in for the 36", 50.4 × 18.5 in for the 50" and 65.2 × 18.5 in for the 65", 4 in deep. That fits a 2×6 stud wall or a built-out TV wall. A standard 2×4 wall is too shallow to recess it fully, so hang it on the wall instead.

Yes. Leave at least 12 inches between the top of the fireplace and the bottom of the TV. The heat vents out the front, at the bottom, so it blows into the room and not up into the TV.

Both. It comes with a standard plug for any 120 V outlet. For a clean built-in look, an electrician can hardwire it instead. We recommend a dedicated 15 A circuit, because a 1,500 W heater sharing a circuit with other appliances can trip the breaker.

Not usually. If you're comfortable framing an opening and cutting drywall, it's an afternoon for two people. Otherwise a handyman can do it. You only need an electrician if you're adding an outlet or hardwiring.

Yes. Every Embra Linear hangs flat on the wall with the included bracket, like a TV, or stands on its feet on a console. At 3.9 in deep it barely sticks out, and there's no construction.

Orders ship from our US warehouse within 1–2 business days, then take 3–7 business days to arrive. You get a tracking link by email the day it leaves.

Free to the contiguous US (the lower 48 states and DC). We don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii, PO boxes or outside the US yet.

Usually not. Most orders come by ground parcel and are left at your door. Large boxes may need a signature, and the tracking email will say so.

Take photos of the box and the unit before throwing anything away, and send them to us within 48 hours of delivery using the form below. We ship a replacement free of charge. You don't wait for the damaged one to come back.

Order by December 15 for delivery before December 25 in the lower 48.

You have 30 days from delivery to return it for a full refund to your original payment method. It needs to be unused and in its original packaging, so keep the box until you're sure.

Send a message with the topic "Return" and your order number. We email you a prepaid label and pickup instructions within one business day. The refund goes out within 3 business days of the unit reaching our warehouse.

If the fireplace is damaged, defective or we sent the wrong one, we pay. If you changed your mind, the return label cost is taken off your refund. There's no restocking fee.

Every part of the fireplace: the heater, the LEDs, the remote, the control board and the glass, against defects for 2 years from delivery. If something stops working we send the part or a new unit, whichever fixes it fastest. Normal wear and damage from installation aren't covered.
